Client: JN Egg Incubator Manufacturing
Industry: Agricultural Equipment / Poultry Equipment Manufacturing
Project Type: Website Development + SEO (From Scratch)
Website: JN Egg Incubator Manufacturing
Project Overview
The owner of JN Egg Incubator Manufacturing approached me with the goal of establishing a strong online presence from scratch. Their business did not have a website and lacked visibility on search engines and only relied on their Facebook page to gain online visibility. My role was to build a professional WordPress website and implement a solid white-hat SEO foundation that would support long-term visibility and organic growth.
This project involved end-to-end execution, covering website development and environment setup, keyword research, on-page optimization, content creation and optimization, local SEO, and a basic off-page optimization and technical SEO.
Challenges
- No existing website; online presence limited to a Facebook page.
- No SEO strategy or content framework in place.
- No historical performance data to guide keyword targeting or content development.
- Operating in a competitive manufacturing niche with low domain authority.
- Needed to build trust and credibility for a new domain from scratch.
- Required implementation of white-hat SEO best practices before and after launch.
Goals and Objectives
- Build a professional, fast, and SEO-friendly website.
- Identify and target high-value, buyer-intent, and industry-specific keywords.
- Establish a strong SEO foundation to support long-term rankings, organic traffic growth, and lead generation.
- Establish a complete SEO environment, including website monitoring to minimize downtime, keyword tracking, and performance measurement.
- Configure and integrate essential tracking tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Optimize content to compete for featured snippets, AI Overviews, and enhanced search results through structured, answer-focused content.
- Strengthen local SEO signals to support local search visibility and market dominance, including location optimization and local relevance.
Responsibilities
I handled the entire project from planning to execution, including:
- Website development (Planning & structure)
- SEO website audit (pre & post-launch)
- Keyword research
- On-page optimization
- Local SEO
- Content creation and optimization
- Basic foundation for off-page and technical SEO
Project Expectations
SEO is a long-term strategy that requires time, consistency, and patience. Results do not happen overnight, especially for a new website starting from scratch. Search engines need time to discover, crawl, index, and evaluate a new domain before meaningful ranking improvements can occur. Because this is a newly launched website, it naturally takes longer to gain trust, authority, and visibility in search results compared to established websites. Early stages focus on building a strong technical and content foundation, while rankings and organic traffic typically improve gradually over time.
SEO involves continuous optimization, monitoring, and refinement. This process is done strategically and responsibly—following best practices and avoiding over-optimization that could negatively impact performance.
Note: This is to ensure transparency and to avoid unrealistic assumptions about SEO timelines and results. SEO is not an instant process, especially for new websites, and success depends on consistent, ethical optimization over time.
WordPress Website Development
1. Hosting & Domain Setup
I selected Hostinger as the web hosting provider due to its reliability, user-friendly interface, solid performance, and WordPress compatibility. The domain, DNS, and SSL were properly configured to ensure a secure and stable website environment from the start.
2. WordPress Installation & Core Setup
The project started with a clean WordPress installation, followed by essential configurations such as SEO-friendly permalinks, correct timezone settings, and basic security adjustments. Unnecessary default themes and plugins were removed to keep the website lightweight, secure, and optimized for performance.
3. Theme & Design Setup
A lightweight, SEO-friendly, and fully mobile-responsive WordPress theme was selected to ensure fast loading speeds and cross-device compatibility. The site was designed with a clean layout, clear navigation, and a conversion-focused structure to guide users efficiently while supporting search engine visibility.
4. Essential Plugins Setup
Only essential plugins were installed to avoid performance issues, including an SEO optimization plugin, a performance and caching plugin, and security and backup plugins. This setup ensured the website remained fast, stable, secure, and easy to maintain without unnecessary plugin bloat.
5. Page Creation & Content Integration
Core pages such as the Home, About, Products, Services, and Contact pages were created and optimized using SEO-friendly URLs, properly structured headings, and strategic internal linking. Content was formatted for readability and aligned with search intent, with JN Egg Incubator images integrated to visually support the content and enhance user engagement.
6. Tracking & Monitoring
- Google Search Console setup
- Google Analytics installation
- Bing Webmaster Tools configuration
- Website uptime and performance monitoring
- Creation of Uber Suggest account for keyword tracking
- Setting up an Ahrefs account
Search Engine Optimization
Website Audit
Since the project started with no existing SEO data, I conducted a comprehensive baseline website audit using my customized audit template, which covers environmental setup, user experience, performance, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, and content optimization. I utilized SEO tools such as Screaming Frog to analyze the website’s structure, identify issues, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
This audit provided a clear picture of the website’s initial strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to create a structured roadmap for building the website with SEO best practices from the ground up. The accompanying screenshot illustrates the audit template I used as a foundation for optimizing and structuring the website effectively.
Keyword Research & Keyword Mapping
I began the keyword research process by reviewing the client’s business goals to ensure the keywords I prioritized aligned with their products, services, and target audience. I then conducted seed keyword research focused on egg incubator–related terms, manufacturing keywords, and supplier-based search queries. This was followed by competitor keyword analysis to uncover opportunities and identify gaps within the industry.
Each keyword was evaluated based on search intent, including commercial, transactional, and informational queries, to ensure the content matches what users are actively searching for. I also assessed important keyword metrics such as search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC, and PPC data to balance ranking potential with business value. The final keywords were grouped through keyword clustering and siloing, then strategically mapped to the most relevant pages to avoid keyword cannibalization and support a clear, SEO-driven website structure.
On-Page SEO
Title Tags & Meta Descriptions
SEO title tags and meta descriptions play a critical role in how webpages appear in search engine results and how users decide which result to click. The title tag serves as the primary headline in search results, while the meta description provides a brief summary of the page’s content. When optimized correctly, these elements improve click-through rates (CTR) and help align pages with user search intent.Well-optimized title tags and meta descriptions help search engines better understand the topic and relevance of each page, reduce duplication issues, and improve overall website clarity. While meta descriptions are not a direct ranking factor, they strongly influence user behavior, which can indirectly contribute to improved SEO performance by attracting more qualified traffic.
Recommended Character Limits:
- Title Tag: 50–60 characters to prevent truncation in search results
- Meta Description: 150–160 characters for desktop and approximately 120 characters for mobile
Screenshot 1: Example of a truncated title and meta description caused by exceeding character limits
Screenshot 2: Clean, fully visible title and meta description that follows best practices and displays correctly in Google
H1, H2, and supporting headings
Headings were carefully structured to establish a clear and logical content hierarchy, with H1 tags representing the primary topic of each page, H2s highlighting major subtopics, and supporting headings further organizing information under each section. This not only enhances readability for users but also allows search engines to quickly grasp the context and relevance of each section. Proper heading structure contributes to better UX, encourages longer on-page engagement, and improves the likelihood of ranking for relevant search queries.
Keyword Placement (Natural & Intent-Driven)
Keywords were thoughtfully integrated throughout the content in a way that feels natural and aligns with user search intent. Each keyword was placed strategically in headings, paragraphs, meta descriptions, and other key on-page elements to ensure relevance and context, without overstuffing or sacrificing readability. By focusing on intent-driven keyword placement, the content addresses the specific questions or needs of target audiences, which enhances engagement, reduces bounce rates, and improves the chances of ranking for multiple related search terms.
Internal Linking Structure
Internal links were implemented strategically to connect related pages, improve site navigation, and guide users to relevant content seamlessly. This not only enhances the user experience but also distributes link equity across the site, helping search engines discover and index pages more efficiently. By mapping out an internal linking strategy, important pages receive higher visibility, supporting overall site authority and reinforcing topical relevance within key content silos.
Image Optimization (ALT Text & Descriptions)
All images were optimized with descriptive ALT text and SEO-friendly filenames, ensuring they provide context for search engines and accessibility for users relying on screen readers. Optimized images enhance visual search discoverability, improve page load performance when properly compressed, and contribute to a better user experience. ALT text was crafted to include relevant keywords where appropriate while maintaining natural, descriptive language to support content understanding and accessibility compliance.
Content Readability Optimization
The content was formatted to maximize readability and user engagement. Paragraphs were concise, sentences structured for clarity, and spacing applied to create a visually digestible layout. Lists, subheadings, and other formatting elements were used to break up large blocks of text, ensuring information is easy to scan and consume. Improving readability reduces bounce rates, encourages deeper exploration of the site, and signals value to both users and search engines.
URL Optimization
URLs were structured to be clean, descriptive, and SEO-friendly, reflecting the main topic of each page. By avoiding unnecessary parameters, long strings of numbers, or irrelevant keywords, the URLs improve crawlability for search engines and provide clarity to users about the content they will find. Well-optimized URLs also contribute to higher click-through rates from search engine results pages (SERPs) and reinforce keyword relevance across the site.
Technical SEO
Website Health Score
The website health score is important because it provides a clear overview of the site’s technical SEO condition and identifies issues that may affect search engine performance. By using Ahrefs’ Site Audit tool, I was able to detect technical errors, warnings, and opportunities for improvement, such as crawlability issues, broken links, and on-page SEO problems.
Maintaining a strong website health score ensures that search engines can properly crawl, index, and understand the website. A healthier site reduces technical barriers, improves overall SEO performance, and supports better rankings, user experience, and long-term organic growth.
Proper indexing and crawlability setup
The website’s indexing and crawlability were carefully configured to ensure search engines can efficiently discover, understand, and rank all important pages. A well-structured sitemap was implemented and submitted to search engines, and robots.txt was optimized to guide crawlers while preventing indexing of unnecessary or duplicate content. Proper canonical tags and noindex directives were applied where needed to avoid content duplication and maximize SEO value. These measures enhance overall site visibility, ensure critical pages are indexed correctly, and improve search engine performance.
Configuring Robots.txt
Robots.txt instructs search engine crawlers on which pages they are allowed to crawl and index, and which areas should be excluded. Adding the sitemap_index.xml to the robots.txt file is important because it provides search engines with a clear list of all important pages on the website, making it easier for them to discover, crawl, and index the site efficiently.
Light House Report
The Lighthouse report is important because it provides a holistic analysis of a website. It combines metrics for speed, usability, security, and SEO in a single report.
Each category includes actionable recommendations that can be implemented to improve overall site performance. By optimizing these metrics, websites deliver a better user experience. This leads to happier visitors, longer sessions, and higher engagement.
Faster, accessible, and technically sound websites also gain an SEO advantage, as search engines like Google favor well-optimized sites. Finally, the report allows for ongoing performance monitoring, enabling you to track improvements over time after implementing optimizations.
HTTPS
The website is fully secured with HTTPS, ensuring that all data transmitted between the server and users is encrypted and protected. This not only safeguards sensitive information but also builds trust with visitors by signaling a secure browsing experience. Having HTTPS in place also provides an SEO advantage, as search engines like Google prioritize secure websites in their rankings. Since the implementation is fully functional, there are no security or certificate issues, ensuring both user safety and technical reliability.
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
The website was tested using an SSL checker, and no issues were detected. This confirms that the SSL certificate is properly installed, valid, and functioning correctly. A fully operational SSL ensures secure data transmission, protects user information, and reinforces trust with visitors. It also contributes positively to SEO, as search engines favor websites that maintain secure connections.
Mobile Responsiveness Optimization
The website was optimized for mobile devices to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across all screen sizes. Layouts, text, images, and interactive elements were carefully adjusted to maintain readability and functionality on smartphones and tablets. This optimization improves user engagement by making navigation intuitive and content easily accessible, regardless of device. Mobile responsiveness also positively impacts SEO, as search engines prioritize mobile-friendly websites in search rankings, enhancing visibility and driving more organic traffic.
Off-Page SEO
Google Business Profile (GBP)
I optimized the client’s Google Business Profile to fully enhance their local SEO presence. This included adding products with detailed descriptions and images, services with descriptions and visuals, website and social media links, a comprehensive business description, as well as high-quality photos and videos. Each element was carefully implemented to ensure the profile is complete, engaging, and accurately represents the business.
By optimizing the GBP in this way, the client gained higher visibility in Google Maps and the local pack, making it easier for nearby customers to find and interact with their business. The rich content and visuals not only improved user engagement but also strengthened credibility and trust, which can positively impact local search rankings and drive more targeted traffic and potential leads.
Local Citations/Listings
Local citations were carefully built and optimized across relevant and authoritative business directories to strengthen the client’s local SEO foundation. For every citation submitted, I ensured complete NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency, eliminating discrepancies that could negatively impact local search visibility and trust signals. All business details were reviewed and standardized to maintain accuracy across platforms.
Local keywords were strategically incorporated into citation descriptions to reinforce geographic relevance and support rankings for location-based searches. I also ensured that each citation was properly aligned with the website by linking to the correct pages, creating strong entity consistency between directory listings and the site. This structured approach improved local authority, enhanced search engine confidence, and supported stronger visibility in local search results. In addition, more local citations have been submitted and are currently pending approval, as many directories require manual review and longer processing times. Once approved, these citations are expected to further strengthen local authority and improve overall local search visibility.
Social Media
I optimized the client’s existing social media account to support off-page SEO and strengthen their online presence. I ensured that all business information, including the phone number, address, email, and website link, was accurate and complete for consistency and credibility. I also helped the page publish updated posts about the company to improve engagement, reinforce brand signals, and support overall local and off-page SEO visibility.
Ranking Organic Keywords in Search Results
The website is currently ranking on Page 1 for multiple commercial keywords, including:
- #1 – Egg incubator manufacturer
- #1 – Egg incubator manufacturer Philippines
- #1 – Egg incubator services
- #2 – Egg incubator supplier Philippines
Additional keywords are already gaining traction and ranking within positions 6–11, including:
- Egg incubator Philippines
- Incubator supplier
- Incubator Philippines
- Incubator fabrication
Some priority keywords, such as “automatic egg incubator”, are currently ranking outside Page 1 (position 25).
The website has already achieved Page 1 and top-position rankings for several high-intent poultry equipment keywords in the Philippine market, showing strong on-page SEO and early search engine trust. Not all target keywords are ranking yet, which is expected at this stage. SEO growth takes time, especially in a specialized industry, and keyword coverage typically expands as authority builds.
Google Search Snippet Visibility
Appearing in Google search snippets boosts brand visibility and trust in the poultry and agricultural equipment sector. It shows your site aligns with search intent, driving higher click-through rates and long-term organic growth.

Data from Google Search Console
The Google Search Console data highlights strong early-stage SEO traction for a newly launched website in the poultry and agricultural equipment industry.
Overall Search Performance
Despite the website being relatively new, it has already generated:
- Total Clicks: 200
- Total Impressions: 4,550
- Average CTR: 4.4%
- Average Position: 10.8
An average position of 10.8 is a particularly positive signal at this stage. It indicates that many target keywords are already ranking on or near Page 1, even before any aggressive link-building or authority campaigns have been implemented. For a niche, B2B-focused industry like poultry equipment manufacturing, this level of early visibility reflects strong keyword targeting, relevant content, and solid on-page SEO execution.
The 4.4% CTR further suggests that search listings are well-aligned with user intent, showing that when the site appears in search results, users are inclined to click.
Recent Growth Trends
More recent performance data shows clear upward momentum:
Clicks increased by 70%
Impressions increased by 42%
This simultaneous growth in both impressions and clicks indicates that Google is expanding the site’s visibility while users are increasingly engaging with the content. This pattern typically reflects improving rankings, growing trust signals, and stronger topical relevance within the industry.
Strategic Outlook: This Is Just the Start
This performance represents the foundation phase of SEO. Moving forward, the next growth levers are clear:
- Link-building & authority development (guest posts, niche edits, industry citations)
- Content expansion around commercial and informational keywords
Internal linking & topical authority strengthening
With consistent off-page SEO and authority signals, these keywords currently ranking around positions 8–15 have a high probability of moving into the Top 3–5, which will significantly increase impressions and clicks.
Takeaway
For a new website in the poultry and agricultural equipment industry, achieving an average Google position of 10.8 with no aggressive link-building is a strong early SEO win. The Google Search Console data confirms that this is not a visibility issue, but a timing and scaling opportunity. The website is already ranking competitively for industry-relevant keywords and demonstrating consistent growth. With strategic off-page SEO and continued optimization, the site is positioned for sustained organic traffic growth and long-term search dominance in the poultry and agricultural equipment sector.
